Even if the distance to Armenia from Finland is rather long the country and its european competition teams are surprisingly well-known here as there have been several matches on international level.

The latest example of the Armenian league's class was shown in Europa League qualifications when Noah met KuPS, and KuPS were hugely dominant in both legs and qualified with a 5-1 aggregate result.

HJK are at even points with KuPS with 5 points to go, and indeed the teams are very equal. Recently there a few injuries and a few poorer results locally, but the performance level has not significantly dropped, the results are due variance and randomness. Important midfielder Lucas Lingman has not been fully fit and he has been missed, but in a bigger picture the injury worries are not really worries as there is a strong squad available.

HJK lost their first European Conference game too, at home to Austrian LASK, who are at the strongest team in this group.

There are big stakes for both here as the money rewards from Conference league for qualification or points are significant, HJK have still the title race, Alashkert need to get their act together in their local league.

Nothing is sure in football and in betting, but in my books HJK are clear favourites to win this, almost 50%, and I do not see Alashkert scoring.
