Mafra is at the moment the best team in the League in terms of performance. The coach Ricardo Sousa arrived in the end of the last season after a good work in Beira Mar. In the league so far they have 2 wins and 1 lose against Feirense, but in a game where they created many chances and the keeper from Feirense Igor Rodrigues made an incredible game. They changed some players and Ricardo Sousa brought the best player from his old team Beira Mar, the centre midfielder Pedro Aparicio and bought an amazing defensive midfielder Inacio Miguel who is being one of the best players of the 2nd League. They come from a good win against Academico Viseu and want to consolidate that win with another win here against the worst team of the competition Vilafranquense. Since they are in the 2nd League their home factor is being very important if we look on the last 3 seasons. If they win they make 9 points and reach the 2nd position that gives access to the 1st League. They are so much better team collectively than Vilafranquense, specially because of the problems they are facing at the moment and in terms of individual quality there is no comparison between both teams aswell. Mafra don't have any absence for this game and so will go with full strength. I cannot see them playing at home and not winning against this Vilafranquense that already changed the coach after 3 matches. They have the best striker of the league and I really believe that he will be the topscorer of this competition, in the last year he started very well too, but then the coach decided to replace him by Abel Camara without any reason and since then the team started to lose a lot of points.

Vilafranquense started the season like they had started the last one. They sacked the coach already after 3 matches with 1 point which is costing them the last position in the table right now. In the last season sportingly they got demoted to Liga 3, but as Cova da Piedade didn't had money to be in the league and as they were the first team of the relegation teams they were called to replace Cova da Piedade. Because of the relegation a lot of players, specially the best players, left the team and are playing for other teams like Vitor Bruno (Academico Viseu), Andre Claro (Academico Viseu), Diogo Pinto (Estrela da Amadora). The coach Carlos Pinto left the club after the draw last week against Covilha and now they bought Filipe Gouveia who was in Arabia. It will be his first match for Vilafranquense and so I don't expect many differences at the tactical level and probably just giving some confidence to the players. They still have 1 important absence, the best midfielder Bernardo Martins for receiving red card against Nacional and got 2 games of suspension. They have a lot of problems and the must win for them is not as big as Mafra at this moment as their fight will be to keep in the league.
