Lugo avoided relegation on the last game of the season 2020/2021 and this year they are expected to struggle again to keep themselves on the division. The team is worse now after the departure of Alende (30/0) , El Hacen (24/1) , Venancio (35/2) and the strikers Rodriguez (26/5) and Herrera ( 45/3).

In preseason friendlies they conceded two 3-0 defeats against teams of lower leagues, which give obvious signs of weakness . In the last game they were lucky enough to tie the game with a penalty in the 90´ after being losing 2-0 for 79 minutes.

Today they are going to miss 5 players Carrillo , Mayoral , Juampe, Moyano and Pedro Lopez; all of them called to be important pieces this season.

Real Sociedad youth is Managed by the popular Xabi Alonso, the ex international player with Spain. He is in charge of the team for 4 years so the players are used to his football style and methods. Their style of play is fun to watch and similar to the 2010 Spain who won the world cup.

The Lugo stadium is one of the biggest on the division with 105 X 70 which favour the football of Real Sociedad.

In the past game , debut in LIGA2 , they managed to win against Leganes who is one of the favourite for tht title and the coach said that they have to continue being ambitious and will go for the win again today.

I expect a close game with no favourite at all and my predicted result is an 1-1.
