I am very surprised that River Plate is the favourite against the leader of the Brazilian championship Atletico Mineiro. Mineiro is in great shape, Hulk scores goals and the defence looks very good. Out of 8 teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores, as many as 5 clubs are from Brazil, which speaks volumes about the strongest competition in South America. Atletico eliminated Boca after two goalless draws while River Plate was better than Argentinos Juniors. River Plate lost in the last round to Godoy 2-1 while Atletico MG triumphed on a difficult away game against Juventude. River Plate may play without Suarez while in Mineiro, Zaracho will probably start from the bench. River Plate coach Gallardo never got a Brazilian team and I don't think he will succeed today. Atletico MG know how to play to the score, they are in better shape at the moment and I think they can stay undefeated in Buenos Aires. I expect a tough game, under 2.5 goals, a draw is very possible but I will go and back Atletico Mineiro +0 in this game as I believe they are a better squad at the moment.
