Benfica B like the name says it's the 2nd team of Benfica so from season to season they usually change a lot of players. For this season, they didn't change that much because not many players coming up to the 1st team because the quality is not so high like in other years, but anyway they lost 3 important players, the left-defender Frimpong is now playing for Moreirense, Diogo Mendes who was the pillar of the midfield last year and the oldest player of the team to give more experience to the team who Maritimo bought for this season and they lost another important piece in the midfield David Tavares for Famalicao. The best goalscorer of Benfica B last season was the only player that went to the first team, Gonçalo Ramos. They have another absence, the centre-back Kalaica. The mean of age should be around 19 years, a very unexperienced team and that lost the best players to face this season. I am pretty sure they won't get relegated, but I expect them to have a very hard beginning and then to improve along the season. They are very strong when play at home, but will face the 2nd favorite to win this league Nacional da Madeira that get demoted from the last season.

Nacional da Madeira was without any doubt the worst team of the Portuguese Superliga 2020/2021, but they hated their coach Manuel Machado who I still don't understand why they bought him to save the team. For sure, they will fight for the promotion places, and for sure they are the 2nd or 3rd favorite to achieve that after Rio Ave and Farense. They kept the best players Kalindi, Bryan Rochez, Witi and Joao Camacho and still bought very good players that played for Nacional 2 years ago (when they got promoted to the 1st league) like Vitor Gonçalves and Jota. They made incredible signs like Filipe Chaby who was in Academica last season and is loaned by Sporting CP and so will face against the biggest rival of Sporting and for sure he will start in the XI as should be very motivated, Suliman who made a lot of games for Vitoria Guimares and Rafael Vieira very experienced player that got promoted aswell 2 years ago for Farense and last season made 3rd for Academica. They have a team that could easily fight for the top-10 in the 1st league with a lot of experience and talent. I really cant see Benfica B with a lack of experience beating this incredible team.
