The manager got a contract with Krasnodar until the end of 2023 and for sure that is paid more than well, after spending few years and doing a good job in the capital of Russia - with CSKA Moscow.

Khimki had the toughest possible game in the opening of the season as they welcomed Zenit, champions. Zenit had a decent game and won over Khimki with 2 goals in the second half. Defensively, Khimki is looking poor. Just look at their pre-season results, they conceded 8 goals in 2 games against Spartak Moscow and Sochi. Lost by two teams from Russia 2nd tier as well, and if we take this sample for predicting their season, they are one of main candidates to relegate from Russian Premier League.

Two teams met 2 times last season, Khimki won 1-0 at home stadium and Krasnodar won 7-2 at their stadium, so, I think this one might be another big win for Krasnodar.
