Kansai Derby between Cerezo Osaka and Vissel Kobe, very important game for both teams.

For Cerezo Osaka this is the 1st game after returning from ACL group stage in Thailand. They managed to qualify very easily from a weak group and many times coach Culpi used alternative teams.

Now it's time to think about J1 and goal this year is to reach the top 3 or a place in ACL who can reach even from Emperor Cup.

So far they are ranked 12th collecting 23 points after 18 games and the difference between them and 3rd place Vissel Kobe is 14 points but with 2 games on hand.

Under coach Culpi there have been a lot of improvements as his average of points is 1.71 per game.

No missings for Cerezo Osaka for this game despite players have been in isolation after return from Thailand, they are all in good form and trained. Only st Taggart (6/1) is doubtful but should be available.

Vissel Kobe in other hand is coming from a great form of 5 wins consecutive including also Emperor's Cup games.

Currently they sit 3rd in J1 and their ambitions is the ACL next year.

However there have been some changes in the team best scorer of J1 st Furuhashi (20/15) left to Celtic and it was a big blow even for the coach Miura was upset for the lost.

"I would like the club to ask about that story. He was currently at the top of the scoring ranking not only in Vissel but also in the J League, so it hurts me as a coach" he said in press conference.

Vissel Kobe have also some other injury concerns with mid Iniesta (12/2) left the game injured, def Vermaleen (9/1) still on vacations after Euro and st Lincoln (10/0) also out.

This is a derby and everything can happen but Cerezo Osaka should take advantage of Vissel Kobe problems on this game.

I think we should see a very balanced one but Kobe lost a lot in offensive side without Furuhashi.
