Group C of Gold Cup. Guadeloupe played a good game against Costa Rica, the 1st one in 10 years for Gold Cup. They faught and created some chances for goals but seems the early red card in start of 2nd half punished them. Costa Rica scored 2 fast goals while Guadeloupe managed to short it in 1st half.

It was something expected since Costa Rica is one of the best teams in this competition.

Guadeloupe coach Jocelyn Angloma has a big challenge ahead of him since big part of the roster is made of amateurs and only 8 of them are professional players.

According to coach it is always difficult to call players in this situation and Guadeloupe used mostly young players mixed with experienced players. For the small caribbean team it's already a big success being in this stage of competition.

Def Steve Solvet is suspended for this game.

Jamaica in other hand managed to win against Suriname 2-0 with two 1st half goals from strikers Bobby Reid and Shamar Nicholson.

The Reggae Boyz needs a win today to qualify for the next stage. According to coach Whitmore for Jamaica is important to not let the faith in hands of last game because against Costa Rica would be more difficult to win than against Guadeloupe. Coach also made a lot of substitutions around 70mins against Suriname when the result where 2-0 so not many changes are expected today.

Jamaica are unbeaten in their last 10 group stage games at the Gold Cup.

Despite Guadeloupe played a good game against Costa Rica their level is low and big quality difference with Jamaica where it's rostet is made from players playing in England,USA and Belgium.

I think this will be an easy win,Guadeloupe usually are very defensive team but today they must play open and Jamaica can punish controlling the game.
