One of the most interesting games in this phase of Euro 2020.

Both Italy and Belgium had an easy group stage while in first round they managed to beat Austria and Portugal.

Italy impressed for the solidity and team work they showed so far and all rate them as favorites for the win. However the game against Austria was more complicated than others for Italy. They conceded a goal but VAR dissallowed and then needed 120minutes to finish the game. A big help came from bench players where Chiesa scored a goal from nowehere and also Pessina scored the 2nd.

Austria managed to score but everything was decided.

Coach Mancini said that this was a very difficult game for them because Austria closed all the spaces.

This was the 30 game without a lost for Italy, and also a record from many years.

About the lineups Mancini will put def Chiellini from the beginning and he will fight with Lukaku, st Chiesa should aslo start while for the rest will be the same as last games.

Belgium in other hand managed to win against Portugal. They didn't played a beautiful game and scored with only 1 shot on target but as coach Martinez said in this kind of games only the result is important.

Key players Hazard and De Bruyne are in doubt for this game. If they will not play then coach will use Mertens and Carrasco instead.

This is a difficult game for both teams but Italy played only against weak national teams so far and their real strength is still questionable.

I don't think Italy should be favorite today, Belgium have more chances than odds suggest.
