Switzerland vs Spain

Switzerland looked really in danger in their group stage after getting only a 1:1 draw against a weak Wales team and than an awful loss against Italy by 0:3 but the team bounce back with a decent win over Turkey by 3:1 in a game who we saw they having issues on the defensive side but they moved to the knock out stage and would need to face one of the big favourites to win the whole tournament in France. Against France Switzerland played a perfect first half, really solid everywhere and showing an tremendous performance but after missing the penalty, France took control of the game and easily changed the game, Switzerland was leading 1:0 and than France scored 3 goals and Switzerland was pratically out of the Euro's but than taking care of some mistakes that France had done Switzerland was able to score 2 very late goals and take this game to extra-time who than Switzerland won in the penalty shoot-out, it was a great surprise because France was really loaded but like we saw after the game, France was dealing with internal problems, however, Switzerland made a big upset here in a very intense game.

Spain are always one of the favourites to win the tournament even this year they were more likely in the 2nd group of favourites to win but how things have gone so far in the Euro 2020 they are now one of the favourites to win it all. In the group stage they started their games with two draws against Sweden 0:0 and Poland 1:1 in both games they were the better team but they had big problems to put the ball in the net, because chances they had a lot but after that they beat easily Slovakia by 5:0 and advanced to the knock-out stage. Facing Croatia was a crazy game, they suffered an stupid own goal by a huge mistakes from the goalkeeper but after that Spain controlled the game and made 3 goals and were leading by 3:1 and then in the end they suffer 2 late goals and the game was going to extra-time, but in extra-time Spain was strong and Morata scored an tremendous goal and the team beat Croatia by 5:3 after extra-time, in a game they should have won in 90th minutes.

I see Spain has the favourite in this game, they give similiar problems to Switzerland like Italy has showed in that 2nd game, also Switzerland will be without their most important player in this team Xhaka, personally I'm not a Xhaka fan but we can all admit that in the National Team he is always amazing and he was the key player to make Switzerland beat France in my opinion, his vision and passes were incredible in that game and without him his team will have many problems to break that Spain defensive-line. Overall I see Spain able to create many chances in this game and it will depend on them to put the ball in the net, in the last 2 games they have been amazing but in the first two games we saw them having issues, but with Switzerland missing their most important player on the field in this game I expect Spain to beat them here and advance to the semi-finals.
