Betis (10th) is an awful team this season, players look without motivation and ambition, their attitude in many games is so bad. Is the team of La Liga with more defeats (10 in 16 games) and the worst defence with 30 goals conceded so far. They dont have a plan, their defense is terrible and conceding goals easily.

Furthermore, for this match they have many players out due to covid, injuries or suspect cases of covid: Montoya, Camara, Bartra, Tello (topscorer), Alex Moreno, Dani Martin, Carvalho, Joaquin, and Guardado. All of them are important, some starters and others rotation players. Other two key players like Claudio Bravo (goalkeeper) and Canales (best player) are doubtful.

Also the team had to postpone the train on Friday (last train before the game), due to the possible covid cases. So they will arrive at this game with lack of preparation because many players were out of this train.

On the other side, Sevilla (4th) is fighting for the UCL spot. They are playing well, especially being very solid as they just conceded 10 goals (2nd best defence of the league) in 14 games. They have a great chance to achieve a better position as they played 3 games less than 3rd (Real Sociedad, 3 points above) and 2 less than Real Madrid (7 points above).

In the last 5 games only conceded an unlucky goal against Valladolid (an amazing goal from outside the box). The lack of goal was a problem in the past but they are finding goals easily lately, thanks to the good performances of En Nesyri (5 goals) or Ocampos, between other players who are at a good level.

For me Sevilla has a much better team here, especially if we remember that Betis will miss 9 players including the topscorer and other starters, while Sevilla was able to train and prepare better this match. Sevilla’s performances so far have been much better, showing that they are one step above Betis. This should be shown today against a weak home side.
