Brighton Hove Albion vs Southampton

Brighton is once again having a solid season, they just are a very organised club and even they lose all their great Coaches they always get another solid Coach and the team just becomes always competitive. They are currently in 5th place after winning their last two games, 2:1 against Manchester City at home and a 2:1 road win over Bournemouth where they showed solid football after recovering some key players from injuries. At home Brighton is a very strong team even this season they have 3 wins and 3 draws in their 6 home games but performance wise they could have won 5 of those 6 games but they missed some key players during that stretch and also they were a bit unlucky in some games but now recovering some of those players has put them once again on a better level and I expect them to continue their nice performances here at home.

For this game Brighton is without Milner, Webster and March. Baleba is suspended for the game and Kadioglu and Hinshelwood are doubtful.

Southampton issues are a lot, there squad is a very poor one and they will have a hard time to survive in the Premier League even with a fully healthy squad but they are also battling with tons of injuries what has put them in really big trouble for the start of the season, 1 win, 1 draw and 10 losses with the worst attack of the league and the 2nd worst defense in the league and now they will face a very strong team on the road where they lost all their 6 games so far this season, 6 games, 6 losses with 3:13 in goals, just awful. However, Southampton last weekend they almost made a surprise at home, they were up 2:1 against Liverpool but in the end they lost 2:3 and even they were up 2:1 it was very clear that Liverpool would still beat them but maybe there is some confidence boost for them to see that they can be competitive but overall on the road they usually perform most worst and also they got bad news in that game with some injuries.

For this game Southampton is without Bazunu, Ramsdale, Lallana, Bendarek, Stewart and Smallbone. Onuachu is doubtful.

The only concern I have here for Brighton is that sometimes they are there worst enemy in this type of games, they still lose points in games they should win easily not because they are better but also because they are dominating the game but just have a hard time to put the ball in the net but today I don't think that will be an issue because with Joao Pedro and Mitoma they should have no issues to created scoring chances against this weak defensive line of Southampton and since I expect Brighton to be capable to score multiple times here today and can't imagine see Southampton match up with them I see Brighton getting here the 3 points and beat Southampton by 2:0 or 3:0, maybe Southampton scores one goal, wouldn't be surprised too.
