This Italy team is a really good one, they have a ton of players with high quality, they have a great goalkeeper in Donnarumma, solid defenders in Acerbi, Bastoni, Bonucci, Chiellini, Toloi and Emerson, they are also loaded in the mid-field and attack with players like Barella, Cristante, Jorginho, Locatelli, Pellegrini, Pessina, Sensi, the great Verrati, Belotti, Berardi, Bernardeschi, Chiesa, Immobile and Insigne, overall they are a great team with tremendous quality in each sector and combined with experience and young players, overall a dangerous team who can give a hard time to any National team in this Euro and they are unbeaten since 2019 with 21 wins and 3 draws and 71:6 in goals and that included the 10 wins in 10 games for the qualification for this tournament.

Turkey I will not lie, I like what this team has conquered in the last couple of years, they finally found themselves and played an tremendous Euro qualification with 7 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss, even the group was relative easy, they showed two solid performances against a great France team and ended in 2nd place only behind them. My only issue with Turkey is that I would be way more confident on them if this Euro 2020 would have been played last year like expected, they were looking way better one year ago than right now, even their last official games at home against Latvia for the World Cup ended in a really poor 3:3 where they showed big problems on defense, they just don't looked like the same team from 1 year back. But Turkey will for sure fight for the 2nd place with Switzerland in my opinion, they have good player like Demiral, Kabak, Soyuncu, Under, Calhanoglu and Yilmaz.

This game will be played in Rome, so it's kinda a home game for Italy and I like them to start this Euro 2020 with a win, they are right now on a very great run of wins and have looked solid in each sector, great goalkeeper, very secure defensive line and with an tremendous mid-field and attacks who can hurt this Turkey defensive line for sure. Like I said, if this game would have been played 1 year ago where Turkey looked really amazing I wouldn't bet on this game, but since than I think that Italy became stronger but Turkey became worst in my opinion, I like Italy to win here by 2:0 or 2:1.
