In my opinion Yokohama is clear favorite of today's match up.

Yokohama has big mental before this game as they won last 4 consecutive matches against Sapporo. Both teams already played twice in league this season.

Yokohama has also big advantage in fitness department. Their last league match against Iwata (last Saturday) has been cancelled due to bad weather. Team players are fresh and probably we will see on the pitch best possible line up.

I believe Yokohama have strong motivation to win this tie and get qualification into semis of this competition because it's their big chance go grab a title. In the league table they are on 6th place, already 11 points behind the top3.

Obviously, Sapporo is in good mood at the moment as they recorded two back to back league wins, but their situation in league table still is far away from good. 9 rounds left till the end of the season and Sapporo is in the relegation zone - 7 points behind the safe place. I'm not sure League Cup is the highest priority for them at the moment.

In addition to that we can expect some squad rotation as they played their last league match just 3 days ago.

In those circumstances Yokohama looks like solid play.
