Striker Konaté, who scored 20 goals last season, is a class above, but he is unfortunately injured and will miss this fixture. However, Salzburg has already shown they can perform without him, as they did in the first leg (where they outplayed Twente) and in this weekend’s league game, where they scored 5 goals. Yeo Moussa will be his replacement.

Additionally, Salzburg has many other quality players, such as Oscar Gloukh, who, in my opinion, is the best player on the team. He is in great form, having scored 3 goals in the weekend game. Gloukh has plenty of experience with Israel and is a key player for Salzburg.

This season, they have lost some good players, but that’s how this club operates. They sold defender Pavlović to Milan for 18 million euros and midfielder Luka Sučić to Real Sociedad for 10 million euros. However, they have good replacements, as always—young prospects with plenty of potential.

For me, Salzburg is the favorite once again. Twente will be forced to attack and leave spaces at the back, which Salzburg's talented attackers, especially players like Gloukh, could exploit.
