Morocco U23 vs USA U23

Morocco is coming to this tournament with legit ambitions to fight for the Medals and they showed that in the group stage were they beat Argentina by 2:1, than they lost a game they should have won against Ukraine by 1:2 and in their last game they had no issues to beat Iraq by 3:0 and advance to the elimination rounds. Is Morocco a perfect team, of course not, in this tournament no team is perfect because you only can get 3 players over 23 years so every team has struggles and Morocco one is their defensive line but it helps that they have Hakimi and a really good goalkeeper to clean some of their mistakes but Morocco attack is legit, they created tons of chances and even they scored already 6 goals they should have scored more but their trio in the attack with Ezzalzouli, Richardson and Rahimi has been amazing to watch, especially Rahimi who has already 4 goals in the tournament. Also the team has their full squad ready for the game, no missing players for them here.

USA group stage started with an 0:3 loss to France and after that they had no problems in beating New Zealand by 4:1 and Guinea by 3:0. Them advancing in the group was the expected even after their loss to France because the other two teams were just too weak to be a threat for the USA but now they will face a good team again and I think they will once again problems like they had against France, USA didn't played bad against France overall but mental mistakes costed them badly and they just can't handle to face teams who put pressure on them and Morocco is a team who puts a lot of pressure and will for sure force some errors once again here. USA is having pratically the whole squad ready to play, just doubts over Busio if he will play or not.

I don't think USA is a bad team but I do believe that Morocco is the better team here and also the match-up is good for Morocco here, they are a team who put opponents teams under constant pressure and USA showed against France that they are really bad handle those situations makings turnovers in really bad spots and if they make those type of mistakes against that Morocco great attack things can get ugly for them but like I said, because of the format of the rules of this tournament no teams is perfect, Morocco has some concerns in their defensive side too that USA in a good day can explore but overall I just like Morocco here and I expect them to win and also support wise it seems that Morocco is having big support too what is also a nice edge for them.
