With the potential for improvement and moderate home advantage Norrköping deserve to be the favourites – but only pretty narrowly.

 The hosts have lost six days in a row and eight of their last nine games and are clearly low in confidence which has been reflected well for example at critical moments near the opponent's goal.. The Norrköping players often pass to the ball too late - or pass it to a player who is in a (too) difficult position/place on the pitch -  and/or try to score from a (too) big distance.. They are in 12 place and have grabbed seven more points than Norrköping but do not, in all honesty, have potential for major improvement.. Their score difference is 19:26 and do not have any major strengths or weaknesses in their game. Their defence is not top-level but stupid mistakes are still pretty rare and the opponent usually needs to press the Halmstad defence pretty hard to make them mistakes.. Norrköping will probably not be able to play this way – even at home. In their last game they lost to AIK , currently in 8th place, 1-2 at home as clear underdogs. Yes, AIK were the better team, generating more in xG than the hosts but with a hint of luck Halmstad could have taken a point. The visitors had, after all, just one more shot on goal – 4-5. I liked the way Halmstad kept fighting even when trailing 0-2 after a much bigger team... In round 12 Halmstad proved that on a good day they can be very strong. Indeed, they crushed GAIS at home 4-0 – generating much more than the visitors in xG. Halmstad were priced around 4.00 to win this game. The bookies should respect this pretty small team in terms of financial resources and players estimated market value (Transfermarkt.com) more.. However, the main rationale behind this pick is to oppose the once again overrated Norrköping!
