Very difficult game to predict, almost 50-50%, but if you ask me, Spain is slightly favorite to qualify. Draw is also very possible in the regular time.

Germany has been great so far, they looked very strong in some games (Scotland) but in others struggled a bit (Hungary, who was close to equalize, Switzerland, who drew 1:1). Also for me against Denmark they weren’t convincing at all.

Germany is a team who needs a slow pace in the game and control the ball. Toni Kroos, who is back to the German national team to win this tournament, needs a slow pace in the games to control the midfield. But this, against a team like Spain, is very difficult. It’s true that Croacia had more possession than Spain, but there Spain showed that they can also attack the spaces with good assists from Fabian (who has been great in the EURO) and wingers Lamine Yamal + Nico Williams, who are two of the best players in the tournament.

Defensively I believe that Kimmich and Rum/Mittelstadt (not sure who will play at LB) will struggle a lot with Spanish wingers. And here will be the key, because there aren’t many players who could help them. Musiala won’t help defensively, Germany plays with two midfielders (Kroos - Andrich) and Nagelsmann won’t change it, so nobody will be helping Kimmich and the LB to defend against the two best wingers in the tournament.

Germany will try to impose a slow pace and rhythm of the game, which will be the key for them. However they need to be careful: if they attack and leave spaces in defense, they will be killed by Yamal/Williams.

Spain has been the best team in the tournament for me. They have been the ones who have played better: fast football, good pressing without the ball, Rodri and Fabian at a great level, Carvajal and Cucurella playing very well… And as said, Yamal and Williams are the best wingers and one of the best players in the tournament. They are playing with a lot of confidence, dribbling, assisting and scoring, showing that they don’t have any pressure and also great chemistry. They have been extremely difficult to defend.

I think that Spain’s weak point is their defense, as Laporte/Le Normand aren’t a very strong CB couple. However, they defended well so far and also Spain has a great goalkeeper with Unai Simon. Is a team who especially struggles against counter-attacking teams, but Germany isn’t one of those teams. Germany also has great wingers, especially tournament’ topscorer Musiala who has been great so far, but Spain, as opposed to Germany, has Rodri in the midfield who will help Cucurella and Carvajal to defend.

This will be an amazing game between the two best teams in the tournament so far. However, Spain not only maintained the level shown in the first round, they played even better, whilst Germany continued at a very high level but left some doubts in some games, so I see Spain coming in a bit better form. Both teams will want to attack, be protagonists and it’s a very difficult game to predict a winner.

As said, is not bad at all for Spain to face a team who will attack them, as they have rockets in the wings who can exploit the spaces at counters.

For me this is a total 50-50 game. I honestly see this finishing with a draw in the regular time. Then, if you ask me for a favorite to qualify: Spain.
