Spain vs Georgia

Spain looks like a solid contender and if there was any issues when Coach de la Fuente took over the National Team, they can be now relaxed because he has this Spain team playing great football and attractive football too. They won all their group stage games, beat Croatia by 3:0, than beat Italy by 1:0 in a game they could have easily won by 3 or 4 goals too, they just missed a lot of chances and also Donnarumma made some big saves and against Albania they won 1:0 in a game they pratically rotated their whole squad to be fresh for the elimination rounds.

Georgia a perfect story in this tournament and things started really badly, they lost their first game to Turkey by 1:3 and in the 2nd game they got a super lucky draw, 1:1 against Czech in a game they should have lost easily and with only one point in 2 games their chances were low especially facing Portugal but they had some luck, Portugal won their first two games and were already in 1st place so they rotated their squad and most important their Coach played a 3-5-2 tactic what is awful for Portugal and Georgia took advantage of that and beat them 2:0 and got to the elimination rounds but even the 2:0 where offered them by Antonio Silva who had a huge mistake pass that gave Georgia the early lead and than also made the foul for the penalty kick that give Georgia the 2:0.

I will not take merit of Georgia for that win over Portugal because they deserved and it's now their fault that Portugal rotated and offered them both goals but now in the elimination round things will get harder and they will face a well rested Spain team who has showing great football in this tournament and even their young players are showing up and showing that Spain has here a generation of talent for many years to come. For me it's simple, Spain will dominate this game, they will have the ball most of time and they will have more scoring chances than Georgia for sure and that combined that they are well rested and Georgia is coming of a very intense gamee against Portugal where they run a lot and gave it all I see them having here a hard time to keep up with Spain's football and that's why I believe that if Spain is effective with their chances they will beat Georgia here by at least 2 goals, I see this game ending in a 3:0 or 3:1 for Spain.
