Switzerland won the first game of the tournament against Hungary - 3:1. They were up 2:0 at the break, Hungary got one goal but the Swiss managed to score in the 93rd minute to end this game. While the ball control was split, Switzerland had a huge advantage in the total shots (15 vs. 6), shots on target (7 vs. 2) and expected goals (2.33 vs 1.25). Now Switzerland is very close to advancing to the next round.

I'm going with Switzerland in this game. They showed already in the 1st game that they are one of the dark horses in this tournament. Many believed that Hungary could do something but I like Switzerland much better. Switzerland has goalkeeper Yann Sommer who conceded only 19 times for Milan Inter and led his team to the Serie A title, Granit Xhaka won the title with Bayer and they have other good players from the European TOP 5 leagues. Many of Scotland's players are playing in the Premier League but they don't have the biggest roles.

Switzerland has a core that has been playing together for a long time and the Swiss play Murat Yakin’s system well. Only Portugal and France had a better-expected goal differential during qualifying than Switzerland. The reason they are so good is how adaptable and how good they are in possession. The problem with Scotland is they do not provide much going forward in attack. If they want to advance, they will be looking for goals but Switzerland is very capable of using counter-attacks.
