In my opinion this market is incorrect. Yokohama shouldn’t be the underdog in this game. At home, they have all the required tools to at least make one point. Double chance on Yokohama looks like a great option to play.

Yokohama's league record at home is simply outstanding. In front of their home crowd, they went unbeaten in 35 of the last 40 league matches! Despite a poor season in Yokohama standards, they went unbeaten in 10 of 15 league matches so far. Currently they are 15 points behind leaders and today’s opponents, but played 2 matches less. Today is a good opportunity for Yokohama to reduce the gap.

Yokohama came here in a good mood after the cup win against Gofu, they won after penalties and for sure that was a good boost of confidence. Yokohama won in last home game 4:0 against Kashiwa. In the last round game they played on the road against second Kashima. Yokohama lost 2:3 after a crazy match, but that wasn't a fully deserved result as they had higher expected goals scored than opponents.

Machida's form slashed down a little bit as they recorded only one win in the last 4 matches in all competitions. In the midweek cup game, they lost at home after penalties against Tsukuba University and for sure that was very painful. In addition to that, Machida have serious squad problems - their two defensive players Jang and Yasui get injured. Best player Hirakawa (he is also best assistant) and top scorer Fujio just came back from u23 national matches and they are not ready to play here for 90 minutes.

In those circumstances Yokohama looks like a great value.
