I expect the left defender Quaresma to play, he is really good but very offensive and if he plays I really expect Carlos Mane to destroy this left side of Arouca.

Rio Ave made the worst season since I remember that I exist. They lost the best players from the last season like Nuno Santos, Matheus Reis, Taremi and in the beginning of this season they lost Diego Lopes and Piazon too. But they have a really good team individually that could be easily on the top-6. They have amazing players like Gelson Dala, Carlos Mane, Rafael Camacho, Francisco Geraldes. They have amazing conditions the work, the club is financially so much better than Arouca and this games will be the most important game of their lives. They come from a very good result against Nacional (2-1) where they scored the 2nd goal on the 90+3 minute and it gives them a boost of confidence that they were looking for. They have probably one of the best duo of centre-backs of the league with Aderllan Santos and Borevkovic.

Probable line-up: Kieszek; Ivo Pinto - Aderllan Santos - Borevkovic - Pedro Amaral; Filipe Augusto - Tarantini - Guga; Carlos Mane - Meshino and Gelson Dala.

I expect Arouca to have more possession of the ball but without creating any chances, and Rio Ave exploring the counters with Carlos Mane and Meshino.
