Germany recorded many more goal attempts (15-10), shots on goal (6-2), corner kicks, total passes, completed passes, attacks and dangerous attacks. The expected goals (xG) numbers were 0.67-1.21. Germany were priced around 4.00 to win the game on the betting market.

Ukraine beat Iceland, a pretty lame team, 2-1 in their last match. It was an EURO 2024 Qualification Promotion Final clash at a neutral location, Tarczyński Arena in Wrocław. Ukraine were priced around 1.60 to win in the 90 minutes of play and did deserve to win but did not fully impress me, They recorded only two more shots on goal than Iceland. Before this they beat Bosnia & Herzegovina 2-1 on the road as solid favourites through two pretty late goals by Yaremchuck (86')  and Dovbyk (88'). Before these goals their offense was very lame. In the end they generated 1.02 in xG. It was an EURO 2024 Qualification Promotion Final battle.
