Germany are coming with a lot of confidence and in great form to this Euro. Their last friendlies were two victories against France and Netherlands, two very strong teams. They are playing very well with Nagelsmann, and have plenty of quality and alternatives.

A strong defense will be the key for this team, because upfront they have a lot of quality and they don’t need too many chances, as their effectiveness is high. For this matter I expect Nagelsmann to make the right tests in this friendlies, trying to keep the goal to nil as it will be the key in the EURO. Germany is also a team whose weak point is the counters, as they use to dominate the games and don’t have very fast central backs, so could struggle here with Ukraine’s attacks and I hope they can control them.

Ukraine managed to qualify to the EURO in the playoff round, beating Bosnia (1:2) and Iceland (2:1). But in the game against Bosnia they weren’t convincing, as they struggled a lot to win, scoring two goals at 85’ and 88’. Also they showed that have fragilities in defense and are an easy team to score against.

Their key players for me will be Girona’s striker Dobvyk, who has been the topscorer in La Liga and is a real killer and looked lively, particularly with his movement and clinical finishing. But not only him, also his teammate Tsygankov and Chelsea 's winger Mudryk. And of course the captain - Arsenal midfield’s Zinchenko who led the team to control the games (or at least try it)

They’ll miss starter goalkeeper Lunin for this fixture.

Ukraine is a team which is way stronger in attack than in defense. Have a great generation of players, combining several young players with experienced one.

I believe this won’t be an easy game for Germany, as Ukraine is a difficult team to beat and will attack and generate some chances. However, I believe that Germany has improved in defense recently with Nagelsmann, and upfront I expect them to score easily at least 1 or 2 goals. I expect German players to be strongly motivated and hungry, fighting for a position in the lineup for the Euro where they are among the favorites.

Ukraine’s recent performances have not been convincing for me and I believe they could struggle with Germany’s attack, which works perfectly at the moment.
