Vizela is living a Cinderella story, last season they dominanted in the Campeonato de Portugal what is the 3rd division in Portugal and moved up to the 2nd league and now they are one game away to make the direct access to the main league what would be freaking amazing and what a story but lets explain why I believe it is possible. Vizela is in 2nd place and have 1 point advantage over Arouca, the 3rd place only gives you access to the playoffs against Rio Ave and the team who will end in 3rd place their chances to beat Rio Ave will be very low, so Vizela knows that to do here, only the win matters.

Vizela amazing run has started 25 games ago, they have been tremendous in the league without any loss in that stretch, 15 wins and 10 draws and have one of the best attacks and combined with a solid defensive line and they are also the best home team and in my opinion the last game was their most dificult one, they were on the road against a solid Penafiel team and managed to win 2:1 with a very late winning goal in the 86th minute what has put their fans dreaming about the main division in Portugal and everything is possible right now, only one win is needed here to make their dream happen.

So lets talk about their opponent today, Vilafranquense are in big trouble, they are in 16th place with 31 points, the same points than Oliveirense and 1 more point than Varzim, the problem is that Oliveirense and Varzim play each other and that puts Vilafranquense in a tough situation where most likely only a win matters, maybe a draw but most likely only a win will matter here and that means that Vilafranquense will need to play on the attack what really benefits Vizela's strenght.

There is also another thing what will give Vizela the edge in this game, they will be the more fresher team here, they are coming of a 6 day rest for this game and Vilafranquense played 3 days ago a match that was postoned a couple weeks ago against Academica who ended in a 2:2, it was a intense game and to be fair, it is kinda awful situation for Vilafranquense to be in this situation, playing all these games in a row when fighting for surviving but it is what it is, but it's just another factor that in my eyes benefits Vizela here to have success today.

Vizela can make history today and I believe they will, their team has been rock solid since the 2nd half of the season, their attack is one of the best with amazing players and especially Cassiano who is the best scorer in the league, they create a lot and most important they score a lot and Vilafranquense will need to attack here because only the win matters for them too but Vilafranquense defensive line is a poor one, they are the 2nd worst defense in the league and will have a hard time to deal with Vizela great attack here and also, Vizela had 3 more days rest and also to prepare for this game and I believe that Vizela will in the end win this game by 2:0 or 2:1 and make history and go directly to the Main Portuguese League.
