They already secured a ticket for the Olympics, so this tournament has already been a huge success. I never saw them as title contenders, but here they are.

One of their key players during the tournament have been striker Kuryu Matsuki, who has been superb scoring goals and showing his quality, making the correct decisions in the area or final pass.

Japan coach Go Oiwa is fairly cautious and so I think he will primarily set his team up for a tough battle in order to make a large and tight game, maybe with ET or penalties as well.

On the other hand, Uzbekistan has been the best team in the tournament as mentioned in previous picks. Again, I need to say the same after another game where they easily beat Indonesia (0:2) - they have now shown any weakness. It’s a very solid team, well balanced in defense and attack, with a lot of quality and coming with high morale.

For me they have been one of the main title contenders since the beginning and after an impressive tournament, I expect them to win it. They have a lot of quality, in defense they have been amazing as they have not conceded a goal yet, whilst upfront have won all games by at least 2 goals difference. The strength they have shown throughout the competition is amazing.

Their target for this fixture will be to try to keep the goal to nil one more time, as they know that upfront they have quality to score anytime.

I believe that Uzbekistan has more quality and have been performing better during the tournament. They faced stronger teams than Japan, such as Saudi Arabia, and beat them easily. Uzbekistan is very difficult to beat and I don't see Japan with the quality needed to do it at the moment.

Both are coming with confidence and beat difficult rivals in the semi-finals, but I see Uzbekistan as favorites to win the title given their performances and quality.
