AS Roma vs Bayer Leverkusen

Roma is a good team so it's kinda strange to see this Roma team such an underdog in this game, I mean, they have been playing well, have a good squad and already beat solid teams like Feyenoord, Brighton and AC Milan in this competition and overall played well in each elimination round and especially at home Roma has been really strong because overall they are a solid team in each sector of the field, they have a solid defensive line, a good mid-field and a good attack.

For this game Roma is without Celik.

Leverkusen is having a tremendous season, they already Bundesliga Champions and Xabi Alonso work in that team has been amazing and they are still unbeaten this season but they had some close calls where they scored the draw very late in the game and in my personal opinion they aren't playing that well like they were a couple month's ago but they still deserve respect, they just don't give up and don't lose. Like Roma, Leverkusen is also a solid team in each sector of the field.

For this game is Leverkusen have three players doubtful, Tah, Hlozek and Iglesias.

It's not easy to go against a team who hasn't lost any game so far this season but overall lately Leverkusen hasn't been playing that well like in the past and in my opinion this Roma team has a very good team and play well enough to surprise Leverkusen here and also a draw would be a good result for Leverkusen here for the 2nd leg so I wouldn't be surprised if the game end in a draw and Leverkusen would be happy with that but like I said, Roma already eliminated legit teams and Leverkusen had some issues against Qarabag and West Ham in their elimination and I don't think this will be an easy elimination round for them, so take Roma or draw in this game, that's my bet.

Aston Villa vs Olympiakos Piraeus

Aston Villa has a great chance to win this title for many reasons, they have a good squad, they play well and they have a Coach who usually wins this type of competition Unai Emery and here in the semi-final they are the clear favourites to pass and nothing better to play at home and try to resolve the elimination right away especially because they had already some games on the road were things didn't get their way and playing in Greece is never easy but overall they have beat Ajax and Lille in their last rounds who in my opinion are much better teams than this Olympiakos team and they know that Olympiakos struggles on the road so they need to take advantage of that here in the 1st leg.

For this game Aston Villa is without Buendia, Kamara, Martinez, Mings, Moreno, Ramsey and Zaniolo.

Olympiakos is a surprise to see them here, they beat Ferencvaros and Maccabi Tel Aviv, this eliminations where expected but beating Fenerbahce in the last round was a surprise because they weren't the better team in terms of squad quality but the difference is that Fenerbahce has good players but struggle to play well collective football and Aston Villa doesn't have that problem so I believe they will have a much harder time here in this elimination round. Olympiakos has some decent players like their Portuguese core with players like Carmo, Chiquinho and Podence but also Fortounis, Jovetic are solid players but in compare to Aston Villa there is a big difference in my opinion.

For this game Olympiakos is without Fadiga, Leidner, Masouras and Ntoi.

I expect Aston Villa to control the whole game and win this match, I think Olympiakos will try to defend the result and try to hurt them in the counter-attack but it will not be easy for them to beat Aston Villa in that area and also it will be tough for them to stop Aston Villa attack who have a lot of options to score goals since their collective football is legit and they find ways to do it, especially at home where they play with big confidence and Unai Emery knows how to prepare a team for this games and he knows the importance to win this game and try to win it big because in Greece it will not be easy, so take Aston Villa to win here, I think they will win here by 3:0 or 3:1.
