Nothing is in play for both teams, but I have better feelings with China.

UAE had two very poor performances so far. Against Korea Republic they conceded a lot, although lost only 1:0 conceding at 95’, Korea Republic dominated the whole game with many chances, goals disallowed by VAR, shots to the post… UAE made a terrible defense and zero ideas upfront. They had just 27% possession and 0 shots on target.

The second game against Japan (0:2) was the same: bad defense and no chances at all with only 1 shot on target. UAE haven’t been able to show any quality in either of their matches so far, and most concerning of all has been their inability to create scoring chances.

However, they didn’t have big expectations in this tournament. They have a weak squad and were in a very difficult group with Japan and Korea Republic.

They have some good players such as Harib Abdalla, with experience with the senior national team; Abdulla Abdelaziz has also been playing a key role leading the team’s attacks, or Sultan Al Bedwawi who did show some flashes of quality and decisive play against Korea Republic.

However, I believe that their first performance was awful and in the second one there wasn't any kind of improvement, so I don’t see any reason to think that they could make a good game here or beat China easily, who is a very tough team.

China had probably the results they expected, but played much better than UAE.

The first game against Japan was very equal. Conceded an early goal and then dominated the game. It’s true also that Japan received an early red card, but China showed a good reaction and generated plenty of chances to score, just were unlucky not scoring them. Japan’s goalkeeper was definitely the man of the match.

The second game against Korea Republic was the same: plenty of chances, but inability to score them. They showed a good ability to break down the opponent, but lacked accuracy with their final shot, which is an area they need to improve for this fixture.

Behram Abduweli will be the key here. He played very well in the previous games and needs to make a good performance converting the chances if China wants to win this fixture.

China was coming in good form to this tournament. They beat Saudi Arabia in the last U20 Asian Cup played in 2023, being very strong physically and difficult to beat, in order to offset their lack of individual quality as other top teams in this tournament have.

Aifeierding Aisikaer is also one excellent player to keep an eye on though. He was the captain and leader of the team in the previous U20 Asian Cup and is one of China's players with more quality.

So this bet is mainly based not only on the physical aspect, where China is way better and stronger than UAE; but also in the performances so far. UAE has been terrible, one of the worst teams I have seen in the tournament, whilst China was competitive, strong and unlucky but surely are coming with more confidence to this final and last fixture.
