Crucial game for Celta, and I see them able to win it.

Celta is just three points above relegation (Cadiz), and surely will need around 7-9 points more to avoid relegation. They have 7 games remaining to play, and this is the easiest one at home. The rest are difficult teams (Villarreal, Athletic, Valencia), away games (Alaves, Granada) or both, like the away game against Atletico Madrid.

I think that their key games are this one, Alaves and Granada. They must win at least two of those three, and then achieve some draws in the other difficult games. But this one is the most important one, because it could be a big step to the safe zone.

They have had a terrible season, but it has been mainly due to their coach. Since they changed it the results and performances have improved a lot: won Sevilla, drew against Rayo Vallecano and made a great performance against Betis, where they lost 2:1 but had the double of expected goals and deserved at least a draw.

The main difference is that now players look free, they can be more creative, offensive, and not thinking only in defensive tactics. Now Celta is attacking more and better, and the players look much more motivated.

On the other hand, Las Palmas is the worst team in the league at the moment. Winless in the last 7, just one victory in the last 10, and 4 defeats in a row. They have enough points to avoid relegation and are already thinking about holidays.

Their recent performances have been terrible. Missing chances upfront due to their lack of quality, and conceding a lot in defense. I also believe that they have been over performing during a long period in the season and in many games, but they achieved the points needed and the target is done.

Majority of their goals scored during this season have been lucky ones, with high effectiveness or shots from outside the area. But they have very weak strikers, who use to need a lot of chances to score a goal, especially their main forward Sandro. In defense they have been very solid during the whole season, and also goalkeeper Alvaro Valles have been at a super high level. However, in the last games they are making a lot of individual mistakes due to lack of concentration, and also the goalkeeper is in terrible form conceding goals which should be easily stopped in normal circumstances.

A clear signal of their poor form is that they have been the only team beaten by Almeria in 31 rounds, suffering a defeat at home 0:1 in March, which was an awful performance and result for them. However, after that game, instead of gaining motivation and making good performances, they suffered two more defeats with poor performances against Barcelona and Sevilla.
