Lampard's men will be facing an impressive Villa squad. Aston Villa has kept a clean sheet in four consecutive games, winning in three of those. They are confident about taking points from Chelsea after thrashing Crystal Palace 3-0 with a player less. Chelsea have overcome Villa twice last season, both times with a 2-1 victory. Managers Frank Lampard and Dean Smith will have to start with a mixed lineup, due to their squads' last games being just two days ago.

Chelsea will be without Hakim Ziyech, who has been out for almost a month. The Blues' games at Stamford Bridge have been the total opposite of their visitings. They are the second-best home side in the league, losing here just once, against the first-placed Liverpool. Chelsea's last home game finished in a dominating manner, winning 3-0 against West Ham. The pressure is already being put on Frank Lampard and his new signings, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz. Victory is the only outcome that will satisfy their fans and I expect Chelsea to go all-in for those three points.

Contrary to the hosts, Aston Villa will have quite more trouble with absences. Trezeguet, Tyrone Mings, Wesley, and Ross Barkley will all be missing the upcoming clash. Villa is on a five-game losing streak on the Stamford Bridge and a six-game losing streak overall against Chelsea. They have been good while playing on the road this season, achieving five victories from six away games. Dean Smith's squad has been phenomenal against big names, winning against Manchester United, Liverpool, Leicester, Arsenal, and Wolves. However, this team hasn't got such a squad depth as Chelsea and are unlikely to rest all of their key players. I expect them to be a hard challenge for the Blues, but they are unlikely to get a victory in this one.
