The UEFA Champions League is back! On Tuesday night, the first two semifinal games are going to happen and I will talk about the most hyped battle: Madrid Real versus Manchester City. In this game, I predict that Real won't lose.

Real is playing very well and they are going after the La Liga title. The team has lost just 2 games all season long and both have been against Atletico. Madrid is also a very good home team with 13 wins and 2 draws in 15 La Liga games, a total of 37 goals scored and 7 conceded. In the previous Champions League round, Real beat Leipzig 2:1. It wasn't the prettiest series but the team managed the job.

This is going to be a very hard stretch for City because they are competing for the Champions League trophy and Premier League title. Last weekend, City visited Crystal Palace and won 4:2 but the performance wasn't the best. First of all, they conceded first. Secondly, two goals allowed against Crystal Palace aren't something to be proud of. Out of 15 Premier League road games, City has drawn 2 and lost 3. Interesting, that the team has 4 losses this season and all have been on the road.

With Eder Militao now back in Ancelotti's ranks after a devastating ACL injury, only Thibaut Courtois and David Alaba are taking up beds in the Real Madrid infirmary with their serious knee issues; Dani Ceballos is now working with the group again after being restricted to individual training last week. Man City defenders have been dropping like flies over the past couple of weeks, as Josko Gvardiol picked up a niggle during his side's Premier League beating of Crystal Palace at the weekend, although he is only regarded as a minor doubt for the first leg at present. However, Man City's doctors have told Guardiola that Kyle Walker (hamstring) has no chance of playing in the first leg.

For the 3rd year in a row, both teams are meeting in the Champions League playoffs. While the series has split, Real didn't lose any of the two home games. Since 2012, Real has 3 wins and 1 draw in 5 games against City at home. Last year, Real was vulnerable but now they are very good. This should be a close game and I wouldn't be surprised to see a draw because City would be ready to seal the deal at home.
