HamKam had a disastrous season start last year. Then Kjetil Rekdal arrived and changed everything. Only the promoted teams Lillestrøm and Tromsø took more points than HamKam after Rekdal's entry.

For this season Kjetil Rekdal is building up a strong team, bringing players from important clubs such as Rosenborg and Midtjylland.

Stjørdals-Blink won none of the last eight matches in the Obos league last year, and they thus ended up in 14th place and avoided relegation after beating Asker in the playouts.

Several key players left the club and they aren’t replaced well. Stjørdals-Blink will again fight against relegation but this time much harder.
