Benfica this season has been kinda a disaster, big investment but players aren't producing like expected and also the Coaching this season has been quite bad in compare to last season and also internal they have been some concerns and issues all season long, overall this season is not like it was last season where Benfica was playing attractive football and conquer europe football with their play, this season Benfica almost looks always bad and the reason why they are in 2nd place in the league and still fighting for the league title is because in Portugal there are not many good teams and they have been winning the games against the weaker teams even by playing badly like we saw a couple days ago where they beat Chaves by 1:0, yes they missed a couple penalty kicks but overall their performance was awful.

For this game Benfica is without Bernat and Gouveia.

Sporting on the other side is in my opinion the best team in Portugal and who plays the best and more consistent team, they are leading the league by 1 point against Benfica but have played 1 game less than Benfica and overall Coach Ruben Amorim is once again making a great job this season, very likely his last season since tons of teams have their eyes on him. This season Sporting made a huge upgrade in the attack, they got Gyokeres who has been tremendous for them and who gives Portuguese teams nightmares and if last season Sporting attack was their weakness, this season they have by far the best attack in the league.

For this game Sporting is without Adan and Pote.

The first leg ended in a 2:1 win for Sporting and to be fair, Benfica got lucky for only losing by 2:1 because Sporting dominated pratically 70 minutes of the game and where up 2:0 and could have been easily up by 3 or more but than Benfica out of nowhere scored the 1:2 and Sporting didn't react well to that but overall Sporting showed domination for most of the time against Benfica and even this game is on the road this season Benfica isn't really dangerous or to be afraid to face them on the road, Sporting in my opinion has a really amazing chance to get to the final here and get at least a draw here, it's all their need and personally I wouldn't be surprised to see them winning the game once again, it's just really hard to be confident in Benfica this season and seen them playing at a really poor level and Sporting on the other side have been super consistent and have been playing the best football in Portugal, so take Sporting to win or draw here.
