However, they are a mid-table team, who don't have big ambitions and won’t fight for the title or later stages of this tournament. With only 3 rounds more remaining to play, Lanus has 5 points advantage and surely they’ll need just 2-3 points more to assure the qualification.

Previously, just two weeks ago, they were eliminated from the Copa Argentina in 1/32 finals losing against El Porvenir, a team from the 4th category in Argentinian football.

It’s probably that we’ll starting to see some changes in the lineup, some experiments, and the team lacking motivation as they are almost qualified. Even a draw won’t be a bad deal for them here.

On the other hand, Union Santa Fe is a similar team, who still have chances to qualify to the next stage (TOP4). They are 2 points below promotion, so need to win points in this fixture. They have lost only 3 games so far, the same as Lanus, which came against strong teams (Newells, Defensa y Justicia, and Estudiantes La Plata).
