In my opinion Rayo have really good chances to at least avoid big loss in this game. +1 or more safe +1.5 AH on away side looks like great option to play.

One month ago Rayo lost here against Girona in Copa del Rey. Despite bad result, that wasn't bad performance. Rayo started horrible, but after played better, especially in the second half. Before that game, Rayo didn't lost at this stadium in last 4 consecutive matches.

Obviously, Girona plays incredible season, but their form slashed down in last matches. In last 5 matches in all competitions only one win - against poor Celta Vigo (just above relegation zone). That was close game: expected goals scored for Celta 0.62, for Girona 0.95. At the moment Girona is not impressive at the both ends of the pitch. They failed to score in 2 of last 3 matches. In 3 of last 4 matches their expected goals scored value was below 0.99. Girona also is leaky at the back - more than 2 goals conceded in 3 of last 5 matches (7 goals conceded in last two). In addition to that, their confidence for sure is not on the highest possible level after two very painful losses in a row.

Since last match against Girona, Rayo played 6 matches and failed to win, but they deserved for better results. Defensive formation showed a lot of consistency. In those 6 matches they always had expected goals conceded value below 1.31. In last round they avoided loss at home against strong Real (1:1) and finished with good values (1.16 vs 1.12). Their confidence should be on the very high level.

Rayo came here as underdog and they don't have nothing to lose. For me looks like potential banana skin for hosts.
