It was an interesting match where Utrecht took the lead but allowed in the first half 2 goals later on...They had to overcome the deficit in the 2nd half, and they managed to get 3 important points and finaly they escaped a poor run, a streak of eight games without a win is ended in Utrecht. However, they cannot rejoice too much for winning the last in the table with so much suffering. Right now, Utrecht is on 10th position with one match in hand. Goalkeeper Maarten Paes is struggling to recover from a concussion. Leon Guwara is ruled out in the home team too, while important midfielder Adam Maher had a relapse of the last injury and will miss the game.

AZ Alkmaar was not so lovely choice for me this season, as I often were picking them at the wrong moment. But the situation is different slightly now, they entered the stable streak finaly, with 3 consecutive wins for AZ. They kept climbing the table thanks to 3-1 home win over solid Vitesse in the last round. Sure, once again they have some missings - Martin Indi, De Wit, and Svensson are out, but there is a strong attacking line, 3 strong attackers that are creating problems for any defense in the Dutch league. Youngster Boadu is one of them - he is the first teenager to have reached at least 20 goals in the league since Arjen Robben in 2003. Karlson scored his 5th so far, while it says AZ won 7 out of the last 8 games, scored more than 2 for the 7th time so far in the season.

The coach of AZ is not putting any pressure on his team before the game, he just wants to see his youngsters playing with freedom, creativity, and normally, attacking for 90 minutes. Utrecht cannot drive in the same speed as AZ, but Utrecht will try to show something in this game, as it is the last game in 2020, so, I expect an open guarded match with a lot of goals, where AZ is way closer to 3 points from my perspective.
