Benfica vs FC Porto

Benfica had a season to forget, it started with the elimination of the Champions League in the qualifications round what costed this team a lot of money and they couldn't get more players that the Coach Jorge Jesus wanted, the in the league they were playing really bad and their defensive line looked really awful but things started to get better like expected with time but still, they are far away from the league title what was their main goal this season and they are current in 3rd place, 4 points behind Porto for the important 2nd place who gives the team direct access for the Champions League this season. Even Benfica has been playing better and has won 10 of their last 11 games they still don't look dominant at all, yes they are playing better but some of their issues are still there and some of their wins were will really poor performances overall even I do think that next season this Benfica will be more solid. For this game Benfica are without Almeida and Araujo.

Porto is one of the strangest teams that I can remember, under Coach Sergio Conceição this team usually struggles against poor competition but when facing the best teams in the league or in the Champions League they always play really well, they are true fighter who give it all in those games and that's why they usually have success against Benfica, for example, in the last 5 games against Benfica, Porto won 4 of them and had 1 draw and if we look at the games on the road against Benfica, in their last 8 visits in this stadium they only lost once and had 5 wins, overall Porto dominates Benfica but also, for example, Porto made the quarter-finals in the Champions League playing always really well and in the elimination round against Chelsea they were the better team overall and Chelsea is in the final, what I wanna say is that Porto against the elite teams plays always at their highest levels. For this game Porto are without Marcano and Mbaye. Corona is doubtful but likely to miss.

I think that in Portugal everything is finished, Sporting will be the Champion and Benfica and Porto will fight for the 2nd place so this game is an important one and for Benfica only the win matters but I believe that because of that Benfica will must play a style that favours Porto's strenght and that combine with the success that Porto has always against Benfica I think that Porto will not lose here, most likely in ends up in a draw like in the first game between them but most important I don't think Benfica wins here, I know that they have won a lot of games lately but performance wise most of their wins weren't combine with good performances at all, they still have issues on defense that Porto's strikers can take advantage off, I like Porto to win or draw in this game, it's my favourite bet here.
