Palestine challenge Qatar in this Asian Cup 1/8-finals clash at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor very early Tuesday morning Beijing time. "Challenge" is the only thing I believe they are capable of here as the difference between the two teams in pure class is very clear! Qatar is not a country with a huge football country but the home advantage is still substantial here. They won Group B with a goal difference of 5:0. They won all three games. In their last game they beat China 1-0 after a pretty balanced battle as a whole. Before this they were quite dominant against Tajikistan despite winning only 1-0. They recorded many more goal attempts, shots on goal, total passes, completed passes as well as attacks. Moreover, they generated 2.32 in expected goals (xG). Tajikistan managed only 0.15. 

In the first game of the tournament Qatar crushed Lebanon 3-0 -  recording much more in xG. Before this they lost to Jordan in a friendly game 1-2. I did not watch this match but according to reports Qatar were not bad. Prior to this loss they took three wins in a row. In the World Cup in 2022 in Qatar they faced too strong opponents but did not collapse.. For example, the Netherlands beat them only 2-0. The biggest bookies who accept the biggest bets from customers offer odds of around 1.50 on the hosts to win during 90 minutes of play. This is, based on my in-depth expert analysis, still too high.
