In my opinion Cambridge have much bigger chances to win this game than bookies want to suggest for us in their odds. +1.5 AH on the away side looks like superb value.

For me it is very hard to trust Blackburn in the FA Cup. Since December 2017 they played 13 matches in this competition and only 4 times won. In addition to that in all of those 13 matches they never won with more than one goal difference.. On the other hand Cambridge in the last 14 matches in FA Cup only twice lost with more than one goal difference.

Cambridge is extremely underrated in this game because they are only 4 points above relegation, but since coach Neil Harris came to the club improvement is very visible. In first 3 matches on the Cambridge bench he recorded 7 points. He lost the last two matches (against Oxford and Charlton), but that wasn’t deserved at all - in both matches Cambridge had higher expected goals scored than opponents. Coach was very disappointed after the last game and I expect a big reaction today. On the other hand Blackburn is in horrible form - they failed to win in the last 5 matches (4 losses in the process) and now they are in the bottom half of the table of Championship.

I believe Cambridge has all the required tools to score some goals today. Offensive formation has worked very well since coach Neil Harris arrived. They had 1.87 expected goals scored against Charlton, 2.56 against Blackpool, 3.28 against Exeter, 1.67 against Oxford and 0.89 against Leyton. Blackburn defensive formation is really unstable. In the current season of Championship they faced 420 shots - it’s the highest number in the whole league! Blackburn is without a clean sheet in the last 9 consecutive matches.In 8 of last 9 matches they conceded more than one goal! In addition to that, hosts today without first goalkeeper Pears, key right defender Rankin-Costello and important central defender Wharton. That should have a very bad impact on their performance at the back.

Cambridge should be able to score at least one goal and cause big troubles for Blackburn today.
