In my opinion West Ham have bigger chances to win this game than bookies wants to suggest for us in their odds. +0 AH on home side looks like very safe option to play - I don't see away win here.

First match of the season between both teams finished with West Ham 3:1 win at Amex Stadium. They have big mental advantage before this game, no doubt about that. Brighton wants to play open, offensive football, but this tactic suits West Ham because they loves to stay deep, solid at the back and create some decent chances from counter attacks. This is exactly what we saw in last round from West Ham.

West Ham is full of confidence. In last round they played in derby of London against Arsenal and won there 2:0! They wants to go with momentum today. West Ham looked rock solid at the back and extremely dangerous on the counters with players like Bowen (11 goals and 2 assists in 18 matches) or Kudus (scored in last 3 matches and have already 9 goals in home matches this season). Hammer's won in 6 of last 8 league matches. Today they have a chance to make for the first time in club history 4th consecutive win in Premier League without conceded goal. In overall manager Moyes deserve a lot of credit for current season. West Ham plays best campaign since 1985/1986..

I don't trust for Brighton in this game because their defensive formation is extremely unstable. They failed to keep clean sheet in last 23 matches (!!!). Brighton failed to win in 10 of last 13 games so I see great opportunity for West Ham. Hosts didn't lost opening match of new calendar year in last 5 campaigns and I expect continuation of this streak today.

At least one point for West Ham today, but I see big chances for 3.
