In my opinion Sheffield have really good chances to avoid big loss in today’s match up. +1.5 AH on away side looks like very valuable option to play.

Obviously, Chelsea is favorite to win this game. Sheffield is on last position in league table, but even in such poor season they showed here and there they are not easy to break. Only 1:2 loss at home against Manchester City or 1:2 loss on away against Tottenham. Now their former coach Chris Wilder (previously 2016-2021) back to the club and he will try to help them to avoid relegation. He bring new energy and atmosphere in team is good, especially after last round win against Brentford (they already looked solid at home against Liverpool in his first game). Sheffield in last round kept clean sheet (0.66 expected goals conceded) and waited for chances. For sure they will play with similar game style today and that shouldn’t be easy for hosts. 4 important Sheffield players (including best player according to the ratings Norwood) coming back to the squad for this game so it’s great info for the guests.

Chelsea lost 22 of 47 matches in all competitions this year, they are not top team for sure. Defensive formation don’t have any stability – Chelsea conceded at least one goal in last 9 league matches in a row. Chelsea conceded more than one goal in last 5 consecutive league matches and this is the worst streak since season 1977/1978. In addition to that today they are without 3 key defensive players - first goalkeeper Sanchez, left defender Cucurella and right defender James. It’s huge blow and should have very bad impact on their performance today. I believe Sheffield have really high chances to score at least one goal and that should help a lot to avoid big loss.

If Sheffield continue to play on the level from the previous two matches with Chris Wilder on the bench they are able to make this game very tight.
