In my opinion West Bromwich Albion have excellent chances to make at least one point in today’s match up.

West Bromwich is superb form at the moment – they won 6 of last 7 matches. They lost on the road against 4th Southampton, but that wasn’t deserved result at all: expected goals scored for WBA 2.12, for Southampton 1.08. After that game WBA bounced back in best possible way. They won 2:0 at home against 2nd Ipswich (1.7 expected goals scored, 0.23 expected goals conceded). In midweek game WBA won on the hard ground in Cardiff and that was also deserved win (1.22 expected goals scored, 0.48 expected goals conceded). They are in really good shape and they have all required tools to go with momentum front of home crowd. So far WBA went unbeaten in 8 of 9 home league matches.

Obviously, Leicester is leader of the table, they had phenomenal start of the season, but without any shadow of doubt quality of their performances slashed down a lot in last weeks. In last 4 rounds Leicester recorded only one win (against Watford). They lost 0:1 at home against Leeds after poor performance (only 0.65 expected goals scored). They lost 0:1 on the road against M’Boro (Liecester had lower expected goals scored number). In midweek game Leicester played against the worst team in whole league – Sheffield Wednesday, but still failed to win (1:1). What is even more interesting – Sheffield finished with higher expected goals scored number.

Big difference between both teams in terms of current form. That should be visible on the pitch.
