Utsikten had a good start for their season at Superettan and at one point they looked like confirmed for the direct promotion, but in September their for was badly hurt, and since then they won only 2 matches of the last 11 and made these play-offs only narrowly, by one point ahead of Öster, whom they won 4 rounds ago. They also did need to win their last round match v another Göteborg side GAIS, and did so by a 0-1 scoreline. GAIS had already secured their direct promotion, and also won the xG-data in this match. In fact Utsikten are only 5th best team in performance metrics, so they can consider themselves lucky to be at the play-offs.

Brommapojkarna won last 2 matches in Allsvenskan against good teams Häcken and Mjällby, but their previous poor run since late August destroyed their season it was not enough, and too late. They were without a win for 8 rounds, and it cost them a direct stay at Allsvenskan.

Brommapojkarna surely had their moments during the season, they are a promoted team, did score 8th most in the league but the consistency of the defense failed them.

The experience and skill of BP will be too much for the home side, who have heavily relied on top scorer Hedlund, but along the whole team his form dropped towards the end, and he did not score for the last 6 rounds even once, the time it was mostly needed. There is not much scoring help behind him, he scored 15, next best was Skoglund with his 6 goals.

Bromma looked like a quality team all season apart from the black two months from late August, they are practically injury free.

We can expect young talent Zeidane Inoussa to score again here, as he did 5 times in his 10 games!
