In my opinion Sevilla have really good chances to avoid loss in today’s match up.

Sevilla at the weekend played first match with new coach Diego Alonso on the bench. They played at home against Real Madrid, the strongest team in La Liga and avoided loss (1:1). That was close match (expected goals scored for Sevilla 1.54, for Real Madrid 1.69). In overall good performance from hosts and for sure they coming for today’s match full of confidence.

Arsenal also played very prestigious game at the weekend, away game against Chelsea. Match finished with draw 2:2, but that wasn’t deserved result at all. Chelsea played better, controlled the game and had lead 2:0, but produced silly errors at the end of the match and failed to win.

I believe Sevilla have all required tools to score some goals today. They looked good in offense against Real at the weekend as they had 3 shots more (17 in total). On the other hand Arsenal in current season faces in average more than 10 shots per game in away matches. Sevilla should be able to produce +10 shots in this game without too big problems.

Arsenal not coming here with big confidence – they lost in first away match against Lens in this group. In addition to that, Sevilla is experience and big stage team. They won Europa League last season and their average age is +30 in first line up (the oldest team in competition). On the other hand Arsenal is one of the youngest and that should make difference, especially front of loud, energetic crowd in Andalusia.
