Gil Vicente improved a lot recently, with 4 wins on the last 5 games. They have just lost (undeserved) against Moreirense where they dominated the 1st half but suffered a goal. They improved a lot because of the striker Pedro Marques (loan by Sporting CP) but with 31 points they are really comfortable on the table and will face a desperate team that will make everything to make points in Barcelos. Their best player is back from suspension "Lucas Mineiro", he probably will join Benfica on the next season and he will be very careful to have no injuries so he can join Benfica and Gil Vicente will be very careful with him too as they payed a very high fee for him because they knew they could sell him more expensive to Benfica. This game will be very interesting as both teams are living a good moment but Gil is really comfortable and will just play for the "show" here. Joao Afonso is still in doubt and probably will miss this match.

Famalicao is probably one of the best teams on the league at the moment. Since the new coach Ivo Vieira arrived they made 2 wins, 2 draws (against Sporting and Braga) and just lost the last match against Portimonense, but they played a bit better than them and the Portimonense's goal was very controversial as the striker touched the ball with the hand before shooting and on that game the centre-back Riccielli wasn't able to play, but he is now able for this match. Ivo Vieira revolutionized completely Famalicao after two failed coaches (Joao Pedro Sousa and Silas). They have players in amazing form, specially Ruben Vinagre that in my opinion will be in future Portugal's left defender. He is very good and imprevisible. After the wins of Farense and Maritimo the pressure increased for Famalicao as Maritimo reached the same 27 points as Famalicao. They really need to win this game or atleast not lose and I honestly think that they are better individually and collectively than Gil Vicente. They don't have any important miss for this game and will destroy this comfortable Gil Vicente. They have in my opinion the 2nd best midfielder of the league (Ugarte) and probably will join Benfica next season too, if not Benfica a top Portuguese team for sure.
