Usually in such cases teams have a great sense of relief and go into “holiday mode” almost instantly. There is no reason for them to push for anything on the road against 150% motivated Oostende.

Home have a difficult task of taking over Anderlecht into the Champions League group (top 4). Oostende have really worked hard to move close within the dream and it would be unwise of them to stop at the final step. All is needed from them here is a win and then everything is down to Anderlecht - in case of miracle, which would be a defeat for Anderlecht, Oostende will jump into the champions league qualification group.

I think hosts have enough quality and motivation here to take a win and hope luck is on their side in the parallel game.

St. Truiden - Anderlecht

A game that goes in-synch with the one above - Anderlecht must make sure they don’t lose vs. St.Truiden and then the Champions League spot is in the pocket.

A slump here will cost them a lost as Oostende is on the tail and likely to take maximum points from their game. Then being level on 55 pts will make Oostende finish ahead due to greater number of wins.

Anderlecht has gone a long way to get where they are now and have been in great form in recent weeks taking 4 wins from the last 5 rounds.

St.Truiden, in turn, has nothing left to play for and they are sitting not far away from the bottom of the league.

In the previous round I already tipped Genk to rock St.Truiden who then became “nothing to play for” team after a good run of results and they were totally smashed away 4-0. The team had created literally nothing all 90 minutes and I look forward to this attitude getting over to this match starting in an hour.

I believe Anderlecht will prefer to take no chances and secure Championship group qualification with a win.
