Plzen VS Tobol

Plzen and Tobol lock horns in this UEFA Conference League Qualification final round second leg battle at Doosan Arena early Friday morning Beijing time. The hosts are a Czech team and the visitors come from Kazakhstan. This is the third-highest of UEFA's international club competitions. Neither club are among the elite clubs in Europe so I expect both teams to be highly motivated here. There is quite a lot of prize money available in this competition! I – along with many other professional football bettors, football journalists and fans - was a little unsure if this competition would really interest even the middle-sized clubs – for example Plzen - in Europe.. However, it seems that almost all clubs really do want to succeed in this competition! Even the Roma players and the legendary coach, Jose Mourinho were very happy after winning the Conference League in 2022. Last season the winners were West Ham from England and their players and fans, too, were very satisfied with the opportunity of finally being able to lift a trophy! My fans and I have done very well betting on this competition both long-term and in recent weeks - indeed we have won five picks in a row! We have yet another very lucrative betting opportunity here! We must realize that there is a huge difference in class between the two teams. The hosts have a significant edge in all areas of the game! Yes they are a much better organized team as a whole and also have a better coach but most importantly have much more individual skill. They have also seem to be a more physically fit team than Tobol. Their edge over Tobol is bigger in terms of offensive quality than defensively. Indeed, Tobol's attacks lack speed, creativity, passing accuracy near the opponent's goals as well as individual skill at critical moments at this level. Plzen, along with Sparta Prague, have the best fans in the Czech Republic and offer a massive boost to the hosts! 

According to a well-known and respected German website, Transfermarkt.com the Plzen squad has a market value of around 30 million euros but this is, in my expert opinion, clearly too low! I would set the number at around 36-37 million. The visitors' players have a total market value of only about six million which is too a little low but we can see that the hosts are much bigger team. Last season they even played in the Champions League group stage! They beat the champions of Finland, HJK Helsinki, 5-0 at home on their way to the group stage. HJK's squad has a market value of around eight million and are a better team than Tobol. At home they can challenge even some big teams and should easily beat a team of Tobol's caliber. They have a 65% chance of winning by a margin of at least two goals. The recommended bet is Plzen -1.5 goals - odds of around 1.70 are widely available. Plzen won the first leg 2-1 last week and were the better team. Cadu scored the opening goal in the 73 minute. After that they defended hard and Tobol were able to create some chances. Tobol's Deble scored the 1-2 goal in the 90+8 minute from the penalty spot. Now Tobol will have to take some risk in an attempt to level the score an aggregate.. This will most probably not end well! However, I expect Plzen to leave nothing to chance and dominate the match right from the kick off. A quick goal would probably depress Tobol and I would not be too surprised to see the final score being 3-0 or even 4-0. The Kazakhstan Premier League is of much lower level than the Czech Fortuna Liga. Tobol are having a lame season and are in the 6th place with just 28 points and a bad score difference – 20:24. Ordabasy, who top the standings, have 49 points in their pocket. In their latest game, four days ago, Tobol were lucky to get a point through a 0-0 draw at home against Ordabasy who had 58% ball possession and recorded many more goal attempts (12-7), shots on goal (5-2), attacks as well as dangerous attacks – 60-33. Plzen have not played since the first first leg.
