Alaves started the campaign with a 1:0 defeat against Cadiz. They played well, but showed a lack of goal. Although they dominated the whole second half, they weren't able to create too much danger.

To solve this we have two things on this match: new striker kike Garcia from Osasuna, with a lot of experience in La Liga and great for Alaves’s style. He is a nice header and a killer inside the area.

And the second thing is the home factor. Alaves is a very strong home team. They have been very strong at home in La Liga some seasons ago, and also in the second division when they were promoted with only 1 defeat and 11 goals conceded in 21 games last season.

This will be their first home game in La Liga this season so surely they will be very motivated and with strong support.

On the other hand, Sevilla is coming from a difficult match against Manchester City on Wednesday, where they lost in penalties. So they’ll have fatigue here for sure.
