Nottingham and Sheffield United face each other in second round of Premier League. After defeats in the opening games, both teams are now looking to bounce back and secure their first points of the season. Nottingham traveled to London to face Arsenal in the premier round, and it proved to be a challenging game for the away side. Although Arsenal had the majority of possession, they did not create very dangerous scoring chances. Instead, we mainly saw half-chances which the Nottingham defense effectively cleared away. Right from the start, it was clear that Arsenal, as last season's second-placed team, would dictate the game and have control of the ball. When Swede and new signing Anthony Elanga entered the pitch with just ten minutes remaining in regular time, things began to pick up in Nottingham's attack. Elanga put in an impressive solo performance from midfield and assisted Awoniyi for the goal that reduced it to 2-1. Despite the positive moment, it was no more than that, and Nottingham left the Emirates Stadium empty-handed, which was an expected outcome. In that match, Nottingham showed that they are extremely dangerous during the counter attack, which will be a great weapon against the not very good defense of Sheffield. Sheffield United, the newcomers, hosted the London club Crystal Palace at home, and it was a far from satisfactory game for the home team. Although the result only finished 1-0 to Crystal Palace, the game was not very convincing. Sheffield United created few dangerous situations and also had a smaller percentage of possession, a performance not typical of Crystal Palace. It looks set to be a challenging season for Sheffield United in the top division. Sheffield had huge problems with the attack of Crystal Palace, who are not known as a particularly attacking team. Unlike Palace, in my opinion, Nottingham has a much more dangerous attack and I believe they will have the initiative throughout the match.
