Sporting CP made a very good preseason in my opinion and kept almost all the players, only lost the important midfielder Manuel Ugarte to Paris SG but received a good ammount of money for him and invested in an amazing striker, the Swedish Gyokeres and in another midfielder - Hjulmand from Lecce. This season will be very important for all Portuguese teams as this year only the first 2 teams go to Champions League, the 1st goes direct and the 2nd goes to Play-Off contrary to the last seasons where the 3rd went to Play-Off and the revenue from going to Champions League is much higher too and so 2 of the 4 main clubs (Porto, Benfica, Sporting and Braga) will be out and it can create a big gap to the 2 that will fail this objective and so the president Frederico Varandas and the Sports Director Hugo Viana decided to keep the best players and they will only leave for their release cause. I think Sporting CP are playing really well and will do a very good season as they always did with the young promising coach Ruben Amorim. The stadium will be almost full as the fans of Sporting are really excited to see the team playing again at home. The difference is too big from Sporting to Vizela.

Probable line-up: Adan; Ricardo Esgaio - Eduardo Quaresma - Coates - Gonçalo Inacio - Matheus Reis; Morita - Daniel Bragança; Pedro Gonçalves - Edwards and Gyokeres.

Vizela will have a very tough season in my opinion, the new direction of the club is completely crazy and they decided to change so many teams - they sacked the u23 coach and the coach from the main team (Tulipa) to bring 2 Spanish coaches that are friends of him. They have lost some important players like the Captain Kiki, the centre-back Ivanildo Fernandes, the other centre-back Bruno Wilson must leave too, the right-back Igor Juliao and one of their best players and goalscorers the striker Osmajic and an amazing midfielder Raphael Guzzo. The new coach disappointed already and Vizela were eliminated from the League Cup against a club that was formed this year from the 2nd League - AVS SAD. I cannot see them handling this strong Sporting that will put a high pace into this first game.
